Brief Description: Forward section alumiprep, alodine and primed
All of the forward section ribs, brackets, floor panels and bulkheads were ready to alumiprep, alodine and epoxy prime this morning. After soaking them in those chemicals, rinsing and letting them dry in the sun, I dimpled and cleaned the surface of the forward skin so it could be painted with the rest of the parts. I went ahead and made/painted the fuel filter and flo-scan brackets even though I may have a different set up. I plan to make that decision after talking with a few fuel systems suppliers at Oshkosh next week.
