Finished section 27 "Firewall" this morning. Kris and I riveted the left and right rib assembly to the firewall. Before I installed the rudder pedal brace, I filled the joint with firewall sealant. I would not be able to seal it as well after the brace was installed. Once all the rivets were installed I filled the remaining joints with firewall sealant. The final part of section 27 is the installation of the cabin heat selector boxes, which bolt into four of the nut plates I installed as I assembled the firewall. After they were bolted in, firewall sealant was applied.
