Brief Description:  Duckwork HID Lights Install

Today, I faced the left wing. Going to be a little more complicated because I have the NAV2 antenna and the Angle-of-Attack (AOA) sensors to install in the same area. I cut the wing open for the landing light and it turned out well. I placed the template on the inside rib to locate the nutplates and drilled the holes and mounted the nutplates. Components like wings take a beating during the manufacturing process. I found a small tear in the outboard most rib at the leading edge. It is where the jog is for the releaf cut. While I am not concerned about the tear, I took steps to be sure by manufacturing a doubler plate and rivited it on the inside of the nose. All the left wing light parts were alumipreped and alodined today and they will be primed tomorrow moring for assembly later in the day.
