I started this morning by cutting a hole in the leading edge of my right wing.... Really gave me an uneasy feeling doing that.... but did it none the less. After my Dremmel work, I deburred, sanded and polished the opening. With that complete, I worked on the 50W HID light framework. The kid requires some pretty good modifications for the RV10 installation. It is definately not a drop in fit. I spent quite a bit of time figuring out how to mount the power supply so that it would be secure in flight. I made a couple brackets and test fit them with cushion clamps. Really will work well. I then took it all apart, alumipreped, alodined and primed with two part epoxy paint. Assembly wiill be tomorrow.
