Scheduled Sam Sisk (EAA Technical Advisor) in today for a techincal review before I closed up the wings. Sam suggested that I add a clamp to the pitot tube where it passes by the bellcrank to make sure it never rubs on the bellcrank bolt. Sam also suggested that I add caterpillar grommet edging around the entire surface area of the rib lightening hole. Originally, I had only covered 1/2 of the hole. Sams suggestion made sense because you really never know where a wire may rub in flight....so covering the entire surface makes sure that anywhere the wire rubs is protected. All in all, the review was really good.
