Brief Description:  Wiring Left Wing

Uncle George came over today to help me pull wire through the 3/4" conduit on the left wing. I tried setting strings inside and pulling each set, but strings get tangled. I ended up removing all the wire I installed the other day and starting over. Once we got the majority of wires through, we pulled the stall horn and aileron trim wires through. It took much longer to get all the wires done then I thought it would. I tinned the leads on the shielded pitot controller wires, the battery B+ and B- wires and the pitot leads. I then installed them on the pitot controller board. It was a little painful because I reached through the lightening holes in the wing tip ends to wire the board. Once the skin is on, I will have to be able to wire and install the PC board that way, so I decided to see if it was possible. No real problems... just painful. When that was done, I went back and removed the two 3M wire tie supports I placed on the pitot tube by the aileron bell crank. I replaced them with one 1/4" Adel clamp. It looks much better.. and more professional. I plan to have a EAA Technical review soon so I can button up the two wings.
