While waiting on deliveries I am beginning work on our throttle quadrants. I have to make a totle of three of these so it will be a long day. Two will be used in the Ridge Runner and one will be for Carrolls BK Flyer. The design is from the BK Flyer plans. The design from Rocky Mountain Wings I did not like. SO, after looking at the BK Flyer plans I saw how simple and practicle the other design was. So, smaller will be better for the RR3.
I cut out the lever arms for throttle and trim and also the friction washer blanks from a sheet of 6061 1/8th stock, trimmed bent and polished all the edges. Will try to finish what I can tomorrow.
