We spent about 2 hrs today working on the control sticks. We now have our PTT switches installed and the grips. Interesting that the stick itself is the same size as a bicycle handle bar. We found a pair of nice grips that are comfortable and fit perfectly. After fabricating the PPT switches and installing them into the sticks, we worked the grips on. Everything came out nice. Since I am in the process of finishing a thorough clean up in the garage, we felt it was a great time to take care of some of the little things before we get back on track.
Once the clean up is finished, it is back to work on the fuel tank to finish it up. Then off to the flap and aileron bracket riuveting.
