Epoxied the trailing edge reinforcements in place and after cure I rvited the the sides together. I then proceeded to curl the two opposite sides and rivet them together. As I thought the tight curl at the end of the taper was too tight. I ended up cracking the aluminum about an inch from the tip. This design is not going to cut it. There is just too much stress at the end of the taper. If I had the proper shop tools, this could be eliminated. Back to the drawing board. Time to stop and rethink the task.
