Brief Description:  Prepping for hinge install on aileron & fiberglass

Its cold here in FL today. It was close to freezing overnight and not above 50 yet. SO, I spent some time this am in the garage prepping for the next phase of work. I placed plastic sheeting under the work area and reinstalled the work jigs in anticipation of fiberglassing the leading edges of both control surfaces. I also clamped and aligned the aileron hinges. These will have to site for several days until the weather warms up and I can see how they change position wise. I found the left wing control surface hinges had moved due to temperature changes, so as I did with the left wing, I will l do with the right. Each day I will check and make any adjustments needed until there are no changes to make. The wild temp changes this time of year play havoc with critical measurements like this.

Once everything is solid and true, I will mark, drill, cleco, epoxy and rivet the hinges in place. After that I can replace the foam areas I had to remove to rivet the hinges and begin the fiberglass work. We are getting closeto finishing the wing re-construction and completion.
