Brief Description:  Right Flap

We have been enjoying some rest time the last 3 – 4 days but, today I finally had tyh edesire to get back into the garage and get back to work. Carroll is out at the Leesburg EAA chapter hanger working on his BK Flyer right wing. So, today, I prepped the trailing edge of th eflap and mixed a small amount of Hysol to epoxy it in place. I also epoxied back in place the gusset I had to remove to rework the strut attache brackets. Once that was accomplished, I cleaned up and made notes on our next steps.

Our next task will be to determine where to cut out the table for the flap control horn. Iit extends below the table. So, we will have to cut out a slot for it to fit correctly on the spar. Unfortunately, the area is directly over one of the reinforcements to keep the table flat. So, that will have to be moved and the integrity of the table will have to be ensured before we cut. Wish I had thought about this when I laid out the framework on the table. So, Murphy's law is still valid.
