Brief Description: right wing leading edge completion
Clean up and prep on the bottom leading edge and attach bracket locations was the order of the day. With the aid of my trusty heat gun, I was able to remove the remaining Hysol from the spars. All that remains is to lightly sand the areas with 320 and 400 grit when we are ready to re-install the brackets. I still have to prep the brackets themselves, but that will be for another day.
After prepping the bottom leading edge by removing excess Hysol and sanding the area we can finish the leading edge by blending the light weight filler and spotting compound. That will be for another day it is outrageously hot here and is expected to be even hotter in the next few days. So, it looks like a break is in order. Once the weather cools down a bit, we can get back on track. At least we will be ready.
