Brief Description:  Fuel tank and Right Leading Edge

With Carroll still sick I spent this AM finished shaping the Fuel Tank rear support and installing it. Made just a tad too much micro slurry (15gm too much). I hate to waste so much epoxy. I should have paid better attention to what I measured out. Anyway, the tank is complete, less fittings of course.

Also I started on prepping the top leading edge of the wing for blending. It is tedious work doing so when you make the mistake of not thinking about having to do this when you use Hysol in areas that you have to shape later. What a pain! I only shaped half so far. With half to go, It is going to be messy and slow. Trouble is, once the preliminary shaping is done I have to recheck and sand off the remaining Hysol from around each rib and false rib before I can mix up and fill these areas with bondo (light of course). That part is easy, but it is time consuming. That has to be done on both the top and bottom of the leading and trailing edge.

I am hoping that I can make some real progress before all of us head out for ten days of family time. That will put us behind but, if I can catch up now, we can make up for this lost time by pulling some all day work sessions completing the finish work. Of course we still have to finish installing the trailing edge first.
