Brief Description: Installing False Spar and Drag Tube Gussetts
Installed False Spar in left wing and Drag Tube Gussetts. Over 97 degrees in the garage today. Had to close up the garage and turn on the portable AC unit we purchased in order to work. It dropped the temp by 10 degrees and removed the humidity from the air. It took an hour to get the temp workable but, it was a worthwhile investment for this Florida weather.
After curing, we marked the Flase Rib locations in preperation for installation. Hopefully we will get that done this coming weekend. We are waiting on the wing strut attach bracket we removed when we replaced the spar and the new Spar Doubler Straps we remade. We sent them out to be powder coated and hope to get them back by mid week next.
