Cut the Doublers today (half of them). I used my Sawzall and lots of patience. Grinding the extra metal was a bit of a pain but I got as close as I dared without burning the metal. It will be a hand filing job from this point. Patience. Patience. Patience.
Once the filing into shape is complete, we will have to fabricate a bending block to introduce the proper curvature to fit snug inside the round spars. Still thinking about that one. Once they are completed it will be time to heat treat them and have them powder coated and istall them.
