Brief Description:  Second attempt to make reflectors

Well, it worked. Using the aluminum duct sealing tape worked out great. It took several attempts but it worked out rather nicely. The first attempt ended up with several wrinkles in the tape. So, I used a ball and stretched the pae in the reverse, then took my time carefully smoothing it down.

I polished the hell out of it by wet sanding using 1500 grit through 5000 grit. Then I polished with 8000 grit polishing compound. I did not want to keep polishing for fear of working down to the adhesive layer. So, I am going to leave it as is for now. It came out rather nice. I also selaed the edges with super glue to ensure heat does not lift it from the base. Only time will tell if this works out well enough to last. I do however still have to make the back refelctor. That will have to wait until I blow the lenses and can fit the refelctor tightly against the lens..
