Brief Description:  Flap

Well, I injured myself last Sunday. Pulled a groin muscle. Could not walk let alone move very well. Felt well enough to try and get the flap install completed. Almost. Aligned flaps and installed the flap stop. Discovered I had made a mistake. I had the stop in reverse and drilled the attach brackets incorrectly. I had to remake the attach brackets (well one of them at least. I had a spare). Abyway, doing so set the flap at 1/2 inch too much up travel. I was not happy, but I was able to remake the stop and the needed bracket in short order.

Everything is now properly aligned and ready to epoxy and rivet in place. The alignment is spot on not. So, I will give it a few days since I amstill sore and need to have a clear head and no muscle pain before I proceed. Once the flap is fully installed, I can swap the left wing for the right one and install that flap stop. We can then break down the work table and use the lumber for the wing cradle. It will be off to the hanger with them to install on the fuselage.
