Spent the last two days of and on sanding and filling. Flap is complete and varnished. Spotting compund is great stuff. It can only fill small imperfections but, when you have a lot of small ones and you sand a little too aggressively, you end up redoing what you have already done. Trying for a smooth surface can be challenging. Anyway, the flap is done and now off to the races with the aileron.
