Apply spotting compound. Wait, sand off spotting compound. Apply, wait, sand. Again and again. That's what I have been doing off and on for the last two days. Still lots to do but, it will take a few more days befroe I can turn the aileron over and do it again. Very time consuming and tedious job. This design is a simple one but, the finish work takes most of the time. We could just slap it together and be in the air sooner but, even though it is a low and slow airplane, we want as little drag as possible. Hence the work we are putting into this Ridge Runner 3.
