Brief Description: Aileron - getting close to completion.
Didn't feel well yesterday so, I took the day off and just vegged out. This AM (after voting) I cut the gussets out and got them epoxied in place. I also measured and cut the foam for the leading edge of the aileron. Ready to get these in place and epoxied as well, tomorrow if at all possible. Still have to slurry seal and finish shape the leading edges once they are in place and have cured. I have the fiberglass pre-cut and ready to go once all the shaping is complete. After that, it is just a matter of aligning the hinge brackets and the hinges. Getting them correct is what stresses me out. So, I will take my time with that and make sure it is correct before I drill the hinge brackets and everything is ready to rivet and epoxy in place. No place for mistakes.
