Started on the aileron today. I moved the table over to the aileron side of the wing, leveled both the wing and the table, then secured it in place. In a few days I will recheck it for level since the humidity varies a lot here. I want it to acclimate before we start on the aileron.
Both control surfaces need to be constructed in order to align the hinge brackets, So, I aligned and squared up all the ribs, made the cutouts for the hinge brackets on the ribs and then marked the surface areas of the spar that need to be prepped for the Hysol application. The spar is ready to prep after I recheck alignment and we are ready to epoxy them in place.
Ribs aligned.
On center per drawings at this station.
Areas to be prepped accessable and ready to sand, clean and allpy the Hysol.
