Brief Description: Getting ready for the flap and aileron build
2 ½ hrs in the garage this AM (1.5 on the plane. 1 hr on the shop cleanup). Cleaned all the shop and tools. Carroll and I turned the wing over and began to assemble the small table for building the aileron and flap. After installing the reinforcements on the botton of the table, and checking for level we determined that a few more sections of reinforcements will be needed. The table must be level and square with the trailing edge before we can begin construction.
After Carroll left, I cleaned up the false rib and the spar were it attaches. I inadvertently snapped it off last week while moving the wing by myself. I wasn't happy about it but, it came off clean. Now it is ready to reattach. I still have to install the one gusset I had to remove along with the strut attach brackets so I will mix up the Hysol and take care of both at the same time. Completion of the right wing is moving along rather well.
