Brief Description:  Trailing edge & fuel tank

Not much done today due to epoxy cure times. That is the frustrating thing about wooden construction. Epoxies take time to cure and it delays progress. You can only do so much on other items because you don't want to disturb the work you just completed. Metal airplanes are a much quicker process, even being more complex. Once you finish prep work, you move along at a steady pace.

Well, the slurry work is done on the rear tank support foam blocks. I have them weighted down and waiting until tomorrow to remove them from the jig. I will cut them to a rough shape with the foam cutter and them shape it to its final shape with a rasp, saying a prayer that I don't get to overzealous and take too much off. Once it is ready to install, I will remove the fuel tank and slurry it onto the rear spar and re-install the tank.

I also installed the top trailing edge section and will have to wait for the epoxy to cure there before I can cut off the excess and remove the brads holding it in place. Tomorrow is another day and hopefully, will be more productive.
