Spent 2 hrs this morning blending the ribs and leading edge. Should finish tomorrow since we have a party to attend this afternoon. Besides the spotting compound has to cure before I can sand it out and see what other little imperfections might stand out like flashing neon signs once it is covered.
Once the finish work is complete, I will apply two coats of varnish to the Aileron before we glass the Flap. Once the Flap is complete, we can set the hinge brackets correctly and drill them for epoxy and riveting. When we get to that point we can swap the right wing out and get it to this point while we wait for our wing tip material to arrive.
End rib fileld with foam, epoxied, smoothed and skimmed with spotting compound.
