Per the build manual, we set up and leveled table to construct Left Aileron. It was a bear to get in place and level. Once the form blocks are installed and trued, we can tack the ribs in place and verify alignment before a full epoxy job is done. We will set up a jigging framework before we set it in stone with the Hysol. We want to make sure the hinge bracket attachments and the hinges are in there proper place and correct. It took way too long to disassemble the wings and correct the original builders mistakes. Making the same mistakes ourselves is not an option.
So, the table is ready and now we need to align all the blocking for the jig work. This will have to be done as well for the Left Flap and the right wing. Oh joy!
