Brief Description:  Rib reinforcement

Spent the last week fabricating the reinforcements for the wing ribs. Lots of scroll saw cutting followed by drum sanding all 36 pieces. All of them fit and now I am ready to clean each epoxy joint on the front spar to wing rib joints. The plan is to dremel all the epoxy carefull away from the rib and spar joints. From there, we will be ensuring there is no shiny epoxy showing and each rib is not loose on the spar. lots of noise form the dremel and shop vac as the work progresses.

Once this is accomplished, each rib will be checked and each reinforcement checked for fit. When alignment is verified, each rib and the reinforcement plates will be epoxied back in place with a nice smooth fillet. It will take a while and we don't epect to finish for several weeks. We want this to be done correctly and feel confident with the bond.

Once the ribs are reinforced and re-epoxied, we will re-epoxy the rear spar attachemnt pionts as needed. As it stands only three of them need to be redone.
