Brief Description:  Fitting the leading edge skins.

For some reason unkown to me, the leading edge skins have all been supplied the same length and none of them match the rib spacings, so carefull planning and measuring for the layout of the end laps and cutting is required.

The location that I have planned for the Landing light was partly influenced by one of the end lap joints in the leading edge skin, mainly to provide better support to the cut out for the light lens.

Stay tuned & you will see.

Once the leading edge skins are taped into place and aligned, I used the predrilled pilot holes in the top skin as a guide for the holes though the curved skinat the spar.

I also used a template marked with the rivet spacings for the rib rivet spacings.

I found that the pre curved leading edges were not all the same and some needed a lot more pressure to hold into place than others.

I also found that once in place and aligned, there was about half an inch of curved skin past the spar that needed to be trimmed back,
