Brief Description:  Stick grip PTT & Trim control wiring

I managed to get a local aircraft radio shop to give me a schematic of the reqired trim servo priority relay circuit that I will need to make up to allow the Pilot to have priority over the trim servo inputs and to also protect the circuits from conflicting inputs.

Other than doing the wiring in my RV4 0ver 9 years ago, I have very little knowledge about radio stuff & electronics generally, so getting onto the wiring is a challenging and interesting phase of the construction. The learning never ends!!

The A/C radio shop gave me a quote of about $270 to make up the relay control, which I declined, and headed down to the local Jaycar outlet and purchased the 4 of 1 Amp -IN4007 Diodes & the 12 volt DC NC (normally closed) minature relay, all for about $6.00.

Back at the workshop, I started, one wire at a time, from where the input commences.
The penalty that I am paying for being very slow at doing this work is more than offset by the satisfaction and understanding gained.

It's my feeling that builders who construct the airframe and then get someone else to do their wiring are missing nearly half of the challenge of the overall project.
