Today I decided that before riveting any skins onto the fuselage that I would run the static system tubing, the rudder cables and the tail light wiring.
During the building of my RV4 some years ago I learnt that leaving the wiring to last was a mistake, so this time I've started a little earlier and at a time when access is more convenient.
Also ran the rudder cables through the guide blocks and installed a chaffing cover of plastic tubing on the cables where they run past the tail pull handle.
I would suggest that Class Inc incorporate some assembly recommendations and or details with regard to wiring consideration and time allowance in the assembly blurb.
I purchased and used the Safe Air Pitot and static ports kits, well worth the few bucks and superior fittings over those supplied by Vans.
