Brief Description: Tail cone and rear end corner skins
This area of the tail is quite difficult to get right. To keep the shingle effect I have installed the tail cone under the two bottom corner skins. To get the tail cone skin down tight I firstly used bolts to hold it against the tail spring attach bracket (Thanks Don, that made a big difference), and then used the screw type clecos worked around the corners, starting with 3/32 holes and slowly working up to the 5/32 size for the big rivets. I also installed nut plates on the cone for the side panel covers.
