After another 10 days away out west with the boys hunting and drinking, back to the grindstone yesterday and today.
Before the final riveting of the rear fuselage skins, I needed to fit the access plates B 225 both sides and B 227 below the horzontal stabiliser area and install the plate nuts for the fixing screws.
Nothing is mentioned in the connstruction details or drawings about the fixings for these plates, and one things is for sure, if the plate nuts are not positioned and riveted before the final riveting of the rear end skins, some would be very difficult if not impossible to fix in place later.
I also finished the tail light wire and the rudder cable slots each side in the rear skin.
