After seeing the picture of a Honda motor bike in the cargo pod on an RV10, I started thinking what a great idea that was, so thought I could do something similar. I found an old 1972 DAX and decided that due to its light weight it may be a good thing to carry around in the aircraft, so emarked on a restoration which took a lot longer than originally planned (as these things always do!), and so most of August and all of September I spent time on this little diversion. The main reason is because I needed the motor bike before the cargo pod design and I need to construct the cargo pod before getting too far with the Cabin structure of the aircraft and at a time when I can still turn the cabin structure over (upside down) to form up the cargo pod mould and make the pod.
So lots of aircraft building time lost, but good fun and a whole new world of minature moter cycles has been discovered.
