After completing the internal linings on the cabin right hand side, today I decided that it was time to complete the fitting of the fuel lines for the final time. After final tightening of the fittings I used Torque seal to show that final tightening had been done.
To check to see that the system had no leaks I blanked off one of the fuel tank pick up lines and then sucked on the other one. After generating as much suction as I could, I placed my tounge over the end of the pipe and held the suction for about 1 minute. Bingo no leaks. I did the same thing with the fuel valve opened to test the lines through to the firewall.
