Spent a lot of time during the past two weeks playing with the fuel pump and selector valve that I have decided to use. Both items have been salvaged. The fuel pump from a Piper Aztec (now overhauled) and the fuel selector valve from a Baron. The selector valve is a bit weighty, but offers the oportunity to add and auxilliary tank and besides, it is one of two that I salvaged from a Baron wreck that I dismantled some years ago and is in as new condition. All I had to do was plug off the cross over ports. Lots of time wasted in checking and rechecking clearances and accessability issues.
