Before dragging the fuselage out of the workshop down to the paint shed, I had to install the G meter I had purchased. This multi function instrument is also a clock, OAT, and flight time unit.
I mounted this instrument on the centre line and to the lower edge of the panel, just above the fuel valve selector.
The main reason I purchased this unit was because of the lack of confidence I have in relation to the claimed G loadings of the aircraft by the kit supplier.
If I record anything over 3 G+ a very close inspection of the rear spar of the wings will be called for !
I also assembled the pilot seat getting ready for first engine start.
