I needed a method of rotating the wings while cleaning and painting, so necessity is the mother of invention so they say, and it is true.
I formed the idea of two support stands with a short piece of smaaller diameter pipe protruding out one side, then attached to the wings a bracket arrangement with a slightly larger diam. pipe aligned with the balance line along the wing.
I had already thought about this balance point when the wing was still on the table when it was easy to determine.
A little bit of welding and presto, the stands worked like a charm.
Moved the whole lot to the paint shed and tomorrow the hard work will begin!
