Brief Description:  Installing the Bungees

Answering My calls for advice, Matt Deley who has previously built a 164 Bush Caddy, came to the rescue with some good advice about how to tackle this difficult and fairly dangerous task.

The tension required is life threatening, so slow and steady is the order of the day.

Once again there is nothing about this task in the assembly manual, and to my mind is one of the hardest jobs on the project.

The short length metal bar with edges smoothed as shown in photo 3 is the best tool to assist the process, to help guide the bungees into place.

Once the tension started to build up I tapped the bungee with a mallet and this helped the bungee stretch and move around the pin.
