Brief Description:  Final mounting of fuel pump & selector valve

Back to the grindstone following about 4 weeks of no production.

The renovation of the guests' cottage has taken priority according to she who will be obeyed, so the BushCaddy progress has been delayed these last few weeks.

I figured that one way to stop the front floor covering from mpoving around (something that just about every aircraft I've ever flown has suffered from), is to have it secured to the floor, so before doing the final install of the fuel pump and fuel selector valve, I cut and placed the carpet in the front floor area.

Before the final install of the fuel pump, I tested the fuel pressure by hooking up a pressure guage and valve and running fuel through it. The pump had been overhauled but I did not know what pressure had been set, as it is adjustable. No need to worry as it turned out to be 27psi and the Precision Airmotive Silver Hawk on the engine unit requires between 20 - 50 psi, so all good.

I really can't imagine doing any of this interior work with the side skins on the cabin, something that really should be pointed out in the assembly manual.
