Only got to do a few hours today. made up the "V" shaped frame & skin support jigs and anchored them to the work table. Marked out the frame ribs & Spar onto the inside of one side of the skin and then spaced out the rivet holes and drilled using 3/32' from inside to the outside. Then pressed the skin surfaces together and marked the opposite side of the skin through the holes just drilled. This saved a lot of time. Drilled this opposite side in 3/32 pilot holes. Placed the frame and spar assembly inside the skin in the jig frames then whilst heating the skin, drilled through the pilot holes into the frame ribs and spar, clekoing all holes as I progressed, alternating from side to side and working from the trailing edge centre area upward and outward in an even progression either side. Removed half of the 3/32 clekos and drilled out to 1/8" on both sides whilst heating the skin to ensure just enough expansion to avoid the oil canning that I managed to produce on the rudder skins.
