Today I started on a new piece of the project. When studying the drawings I noted that they did not reflect the details of the parts supplied. It would appear that the drawing office at Class Inc does not keep up with the manufacturing dept. Shouldn't it be the other way around? I consider this to be a serious issue and once again it reflects a lack of quality control within the organisation.
When developemnt changes are made to either strengthen or improve components, before production and distribution, surely it is standard practice to fully detail the changes, track the revision and issue revised drawings, after all we are building aeroplanes here!!
