Brief Description: Horizontal stab leading edge skin fitting
I was a bit dissapointed when fitting the skins to find that there was no excess skin material extending outboard past the end rib.
I have never really liked the hard lines of the tips on the vertical and horizontal stabiliser tips and have the intension of softening the lines of these areas by rounding the tips somehow, and the extra skin would have been a help in achieving this.
The leading edge skin does allow for this to be done however so I left 20mm of overhang outboard of the tip rib so that later on when the elevator has been installed ,Ill be able to smooth off the tip areas somehow.
