Brief Description: Cargo Bay rear Bulkhead and bellcrank cover
Still working on the list of items to do inside the rear fuselage before the final riveting of the outside skins. Doing the inside linings in the cargo bay area now is an absolute must.
Like the cargo bay floors, this panel is a removeable item and not of a structural nature, so keeping weight down whilst ending up with something rigid that will not rattle or vibrate is the aim. I used 0.016 2024 flat sheet and some of the U channel support framing members.
This panel gives good protection to the elevator bell crank in the rear fuselage area.
When the concept in the head becomes a finished component, the satisfaction feeling is nearly as good as the beer at 5 o'clock!
