Brief Description: ailerons

After almost a three month work stoppage, we are back at it. We viewed the vcr tape and read the manual, then starting attaching the ailerons. The inboard brackets were already installed with the wings, we clecoed the outer barackets in place and then measured the gap for the spacers. We temporarily hung both ailerons in place and noticed that both alerons were not quite flush with the wings by the inboard bracket, so we fixed that by replacing the old brackets on the ailerons with the new brackets from the new wing kits. This ended up placing the aileons in a much more noticable flush position.
Being St. Patrick's Day, we were visited by a couple of leprochauns with Guinesses during our lunch break.
We next clamped the aileron gap seals in place, ready for our next day of work. WE also discussed our next steps, ie Flap bracket, flaps, pitot static line installation, etc.
I'll try to remember to bring my camera next time.
