Brief Description:  Bleed the brakes

Started at 1000 today being a Saturday. We bled the brakes to get rid of the air bubble in the line. We discovered that when we pushed the brake pedal all the way down with full left rudder that it was contacting thefuel line where it goes through the firewall, so we shortened up the fuel line by half an inch to elimate the problem. Also discovered the right rudder cable rubbing against some metal so we enlarged the hole and put a rubber gromet there. We also moved around the location of some washers and reversed the nut and bolt to eliminate that problem.
Still waiting for the right length bolts to install the seatbelts, I shouldbe able to pick them up at Brantford on the way home from work on Tues afternoon.
Glen put some spiral wrap on the wiring and hooked up the vent hoses.
We did a temporay hookup up on the altimeter so it is there for the weight and balance and also the pitot static check, but we are still waiting for the back ordered post light.
Before we have the pitot static check and the mode c transponder check done by the avionics shop, we thought it would be a good idea to do a quick check of the system ourselves. Good thing we did because we discovered a hose reversal by the wing root.We fixed the problem ourselves and now we get movement on the airspeed indicator when we blow gently into the pitot tube.
So just a few items left to do.
