Brief Description:  Trouble shooting

We are not getting any charging from the alternator, so we bypassed the voltage regulator (number 4 to number 6 with a wire) and presto, we now have 18 volts. We have decided to replace the voltage regulator. We found a voltage regulator at Aircraft Spruce in Brantford for $246 and drove down to pick it up. After replacing the VR, and doing an engine run, everything is working fine, normal volts.
Still have an oil leak from the engine, suspect the oil temperature sensor. Also we still have no suction from the vacuum pump.
When we arrived at the hangar this morning there was quite a bit of water on the floor, spent about 45 minutes mopping up.
