I completely stripped the rudder pedals of all paint in preparation for the finger weldments that have to be tig welded onto the rudder pedals for extra strength. There has been reported failures of the pedals if you push too hard on them. Vans AC will be shipping the required parts to us free of charge. While I was doing the above, Glen replaced both static ports with the new ones from Safe Air. Then we both workedon replacing all the static and pitot tubing in the aircraft. We moved the altimeter down to the vacant spot where we removed the VSI. The order has been placed for the Dynon10a with battery backup, should be here next week.
