Today I fit the right root rib in place. I put a nylon string to hold the skins off the tank supports so I could slide the rib flange between them. The small nylon string was enough for the bottom skin but i had to replace it on the top skin with a much thicker cord on the top skin. The first string was about 1/16" thick and the replacement cord was about 3/16". If I do it again, I would just use the bigger cord top and bottom to get a wided gap to work with. After I knew the tank would fit, I marked the center of the fuel hole in top skin and removed the tank from the wing. I then drilled the tank for the sight glass and the fuel withdrawal port. I have to get a 3" hole saw for the refueling hole on top.
