Brief Description: Safety Wired Bell Cranks & Installed Cables
1. Drilled #40 hole in ribs near the bell cranks bolts. Safety wired these bolts to the ribs where I drilled the new holes. 2. Installed aileron control cable in left wing and installed safety wire to hole it on the bell crank. 3. Installed Telflex cable on left flap bell crank. Safety wired in place and bolted control rod to bell crank arm. 4. I can't find any instruction that states to tighten the aileron guide on top of the flap bell crank. The bolt that goes through flap bell crank seems long but this may be the design to keep from binding the bell crank bearing. I will reasearch this a little.
