Brief Description:  Profile bottom foam

Made the bottom supports the plans way and didn't like it. From above I could see the foam sagging between the longitudinal bits, but couldn't sight from the edge to see when it was flat. Instead placed two thin slats across the middle then ripped additional slats for the rest of the bottom to match the gap. Each slat was attached to the bottom with hot glue, supported from below by a straight edge. Then longitudinal bits were attached with bondo.

The only flaw in my beautiful plan was when inverted the next job was to cut out the landing brake and I had slats in the way. 1 slat removed and two moved to make room. Marked centre line as well.

Cured assembly moved to the work table. Started cutting out landing brake with razor saw for the straight bits, and a jigsaw blade held in multi-grips for the curves. Had to go to work before finished.
