Rough sanded elevator bottoms with 40g on a long board, figuring leading edge and tricky bits with 80g on a sanding block. A couple of high spots mean there is more fill than I had hoped for, and I added some more.
I had previously used some excess fill on the starboard brake cover, and took this opportunity to rough sand it and give it 4 coats of epoxy wipe. The shape does not work for the squeegee, so ended up just doing it with the tipping-off foam block.
Likewise, used excess fill from the elevator patching to cover the port brake cover.
